Swiss town between the Brienzer and Thunersee, but also in the mountains. Besides the natural spaces, the monastery, the castle and districts are sights. The Augustinian monastery has a cloister dating from the XV century. Next to it is the baroque castle of Propstei in which are now administrative offices. In the old part thick wooden houses are still standing.
A beautiful little sports event is Harder Kulm, which can be admired by the magnificent Panoramaterrasse lakes. The cable car is active, from May to October.
