Florence, a magical city
The historic center of Florence is a masterpiece of city planning and architecture. Works of art overrun all its corners. Monumental remains are the Forum Romanum, marble tiles of a Capitol, a Temple of Isis, two baths, a theater, an amphitheater and early Christian basilicas.
After 1000, the Florentine people built churches and a masonry fence. The city increases its population but is visibly reduced because of the plague. Ammannati, Buontalenti and Vasari a new decoration 400 years later.
Florence is a place that has a lot to do, a city to visit quietly, the many museums: the science, the Uffizi, San Marco Museum and its buildings: the Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, the Basilica of San Lorenzo, the Cathedral.
In the gallery of the Academy we can see the famous sculpture of David, carved by Michelangelo. It is the greatest demand of the gallery. Michelangelo is one of the most popular artists in this city and numerous works found in museums. It is easy to find markets for their ancient streets, comedians streets, painters … We can say that Florence is a magical one.
